Welcome to Saint Paul Public Schools' Human Resource Department

The Human Resource Department serves approximately 6,700 Saint Paul Public Schools employees, as well as substitute teachers, and dedicated people who wish to work on behalf of Saint Paul students. We develop an ongoing relationship with each employee beginning with the recruitment phase of employment and continuing throughout an individual's career with the district.

It is our vision to provide valuable human resource services in a professional, effective and client friendly manner.

Saint Paul Public Schools is an Equal Opportunity employer and strongly supports diversity.

The mission of the Saint Paul Public Schools Human Resource Department is to solve employee issues so kids can learn. We do this by:

  • Attracting and working with sites on employee placements for qualified, effective, and a diverse workforce to support the mission and action plan of the school district.

  • Working with supervisors to ensure employees are meeting performance standards.

  • Creating and administering compensation systems that help retain the best employees.
